With the summer now fast approaching agent sbobet Premier League teams will soon start to consider the improvements they might want to make to their current squads. Everton will no doubt be one such team.
It has been a tough campaign at Goodison Park but their Premier League status no longer appears to be at threat.
That said, Everton’s campaign has been a massive disappointment and Toffees’ fans will be expecting an improvement next term.
One player they should certainly look to sign in order to improve is Manchester United’s defender Daley Blind.
The Dutchman, signed by his former national team manager Louis van Gaal, looks like he could exit Old Trafford in the summer. This week it was reported by the Mirror that Blind will be sold by United in the summer despite the club triggering an extension to his expiring contract. The report claims that was imply to ensure a fee was received for Blind in the summer. It even claims Blind would have been sold in January, were it not for an ankle injury.
Everton would be wise to bring him in. The 27-year-old, who has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford, would be a perfect option for Everton.
The Toffees need a new left-back. Leighton Baines has been struggling with his fitness for a couple of seasons now. Whilst Cuco Martina has admirably stepped up, Everton have been found wanting in the position.
Blind can play that role well, having done so much of his career with Ajax and Holland.
But importantly, he can also play at the heart of defence. Everton have clearly got issues at centre-back. Ashley Williams has become public enemy number one with the Everton faithful. The Welshman’s poor performances have been matched by a perceived poor attitude. Michael Keane agent sbobet has struggled to adapt at Goodison following his move from Burnley in the summer. Phil Jagielka still has his good days but considering his advancing years, they are become few and far between.
Whilst Ramiro Funes Mori and Mason Holgate are also options, Everton would be wise to bring in Blind. Considering he can fill both the central and left-sided defensive voids it would be a smart solution to Sam Allardyce’s problems.
With the Mirror suggesting United want to recoup the £14 million they spent on him it should be a no-brainer. Such a fee for a player of Blind’s ability and versatility is a bargain in today’s market and Everton must ensure agent sbobet they are in the race to sign the Dutch international.
